Got empathy? Got communication skill?

Put Your Empathy and Leadership Skills to the Real-World Test — Where Top Performers Are Recognized and Rewarded

site pyramid.png

We've Postponed Launch to July 25.

Flex Your Empathy!

Flex Empathy events not only discover your talent, they develop it. It’s like going to an empathy gym for a workout. Flex your empathy and your empathy grows. Aim to write in a way your group likes, and your writing and leadership skills grow.

Feedback is immediate so you can adjust fast. And empathy is an ability you can improve each time. Each contest has its own topic. Each session puts you into a new group.

AI is gobbling up jobs and it will only accelerate. Yes, AI bots can pretend to empathize, but we all know it’s fake. So as long as there are some humans working, companies will seek people with empathy and leadership.

So flex your skills!

How It Works

At the start, all participants are randomly and anonymously assigned to groups of six. You work individually to create a response to a question.

You are then presented with all the responses from your group. You must select the entry that best reflects your group’s overall sentiment.

Your choice auto-populates into your text entry area for you to enhance according to instructions. This process repeats for each new question, which build upon previous questions to fully explore the event topic.

Synanim tracks your selection choices to compute your score using two components, an entry score and a vote score.

Your entry score is based on how many people selected your entry. It measures how well you communicate.

Your vote score is based on how many others selected the entry you chose. The vote score measures your empathy to group values. When you choose an entry that most others also select, it demonstrates your empathy and understanding of what the group will like best.

At the end of the session (each session is about one hour), the person with the highest score in your group is chosen as your group leader to move on to the next round. If they are unable to participate further, they may opt out and the person with the next-highest score will be chosen.

Key Points:

  • These are online events.

  • Participants engage anonymously in groups of six.

  • Each session is about one hour long.

  • Selected leaders may opt out of proceeding. If they do, the person with the next-highest point total gets the option. All group members are presented with a waiting area until someone opts in.

  • The events are available only to U.S. residents.

  • We strongly recommend using a computer, not your phone.

How does AI challenge our search for purpose?

Saturday, July 25, 10am Eastern

Connecting with others is how we find our purpose. And connection starts with understanding. This is why empathy is essential.

Caring for others, for the people in our lives, is the foundation for purpose. If we cared only about ourselves, purpose would simply be our own needs. But when we care about others and they care about us, we seek to provide what they value. Our purpose becomes greater than ourselves.
